Myofascial Release is a form of soft tissue therapy that delivers slow, gentle sustained pressure to stretch and lengthen the connective tissue (fascia). This therapy relieves Chronic Pain.
Most people know about the Skeletal System and the Muscular System but most have not heard of the Fascial System, which connects the skeletal system to the muscular system.
Your fascial system supports and protects you, but restrictions in it can cause Chronic Pain and reduce movement.
CAUSES OF FASCIAL RESTRICTIONS:
Fascia is a thin sheet of connective tissue that looks like a cobweb and surrounds every musculoskeletal structure in the human body (bones, cartilage, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, organs, nerves and blood vessels.
Fascia is made of densley packed collagen fibers and is normally flexible, but when stress, injury, repetitive motions or surgery occurs it will cause adhesions (knots), tightness and tension. Fascia stabilizes your entire body.
Microcurrent is a form of therapy that delivers low level electrical currents that mimic the body's own electrical signals. It has been found effective in reducing chronic pain and inflammation, assist soft tissue injuries and can help a number of health conditions.
Our bodies naturally generate electrical currents. When injuries occur or when pain is present, these electrical currents are disrupted or diminished, cell function is impaired and the healing process is slowed down.
Microcurrent is able to restore normal frequencies within the cells, regenerate tissues, decrease pain and inflammation, relax the nervous system and speed up the recovery process.

***Microcurrent Therapy is safe and FDA approved, it generally involves several sessions, results are cumulative over time.

The lymphatic system is a network of tissues and organs that help rid our body of toxins and waste. It is part of the immune system.
Lymphedema is a different condition than swelling or edema. For Lymphedema and wrapping you must see a decongestive therapist.
I do not offer post op lymph drainage for cosmetic purposes such as: tummy tuck, bbl, etc.
